The Allan Hancock College men’s basketball team defeated Moorpark College, 71-63, in a Western State-North Conference battle on Saturday afternoon inside Joe White Gymnasium.
After leading by one at halftime, the Bulldogs created some distance in the second half by outscoring the Raiders, 39-32.
Bulldogs’ sophomore guard Glenn Jordan scored a team-high 19 points in the win, while Brandon Russell dropped a game-high 29 points for Moorpark in the loss.
Hancock improves to 21-5 overall and 6-2 in conference play. The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday night at Santa Barbara City College with the first tip scheduled for 5:00 P.M.
