The San Luis Obispo boys basketball team was defeated by San Diego, 53-34, in the first round of the CIF State Division 4 playoffs on Tuesday night.
The Tigers were awarded an 11-seed after finishing CIF Central Section runners-up to San Joaquin Memorial in Division 2. The Tigers fell to the Panthers last Friday night, 87-45, at Selland Arena in Fresno.
San Luis Obispo wraps up its season with a 21-12 overall record and 7-5 in the Mountain League.
