Santa Ynez High School football standout Jasper Kadlec accepted a preferred walk-on offer from San Diego State University on Tuesday afternoon.
Kadlec hauled in 107 career receptions for 1,766 yards and 22 touchdowns as a wide receiver for the Pirates. He also added five rushing scores and two kickoff return touchdowns.
Kadlec helped lead Santa Ynez to a second place finish in the Channel League last fall and a trip to the CIF Southern Section playoffs.
