The Templeton High School softball team received a sweet treat Wednesday afternoon as Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham presented the Eagles with a certificate of recognition for winning the CIF Central Section Division 3 championship in May.
Templeton defeated Dinuba in the title game, 3-2, and finished the season with a 17-5 overall record.
