#1 Righetti is moving on to the state quarterfinals after a thrilling 68-63 overtime win over #8 Mount Miguel.
A tight 1st half made for a fantastic finish. The Warriors and Matadors traded buckets late, and the game went to overtime. Righetti trailed 63-61 with about a minute to play when Malia Cabigon scored on a putback to tie it up. Next time down, Cabigon grabbed another offensive board, scored, and got fouled to make it 66-63. The Warriors closed out the game and advanced to the quarterfinals.
Righetti will host Paloma Valley on Saturday night at 6pm.
