The Cuesta College women's volleyball team dropped a five-set thriller to Western State-North Conference rival Ventura College on Wednesday night inside Gil Stork Gymnasium.
After trailing 14-9 in the fifth set, the Pirates rallied for six-straight points to erase the Cougars' match point. Ventura won the the set, 19-17.
