The Allan Hancock College women’s basketball team (12-11) defeated Ventura College (16-6), 74-64 today. The win marks the first time the AHC women’s basketball team has beaten Ventura in over a decade. The Bulldogs continue to improve as they play through a conference season that is missing two normal conference opponents, Cuesta and LA Pierce. The women’s team improved to 2-1 in conference play and Ventura dropped to 2-2. Hancock now sits at second in the conference behind 3-0 Moorpark College.

Point Guard Aryana Gonzales led the Bulldogs with 28 points on 8-for-19 shooting and went 10-for-16 from the charity stripe. She also picked up five rebounds, four assists, and four steals. This performance marked her best for the Bulldogs this season.
