In a packed house at Atascadero High School on Friday night, Paso Robles survived a late comeback by the Greyhounds and hung on for the 51-49 victory.
After Mitchell Carpenter's three-point play tied the game at 44, Braden Waterman answered on the other end for the Bearcats with a deep triple, giving his squad a 47-44 lead.
On the final day of the Atascadero Christmas Classic, the Greyhounds will take on Hanford at noon, followed by the Bearcats clashing with Templeton at 1:30 p.m.
