The journey for Mission Prep grad Patrick Laird keeps getting sweeter.
On Sunday, the Miami Dolphins finalized its 53-man NFL regular season roster and Laird made the cut. He's one of six running backs kept by the team.
The Dolphins signed Laird as an undrafted free agent after he compiled a stellar walk-on career at Cal.
Laird dazzled during the preseason, leading the Dolphins in rushing with 114 yards on 25 carries and one touchdown.
The Dolphins will kickoff the 2019 season against the Ravens next Sunday, September 8 at 10 A.M. PST.
