The Pioneer Valley girls basketball team defeated Paso Robles, 56-43, in a Mountain League clash Thursday night in Santa Maria.
The Panthers improved to 10-6 on the season and 1-1 in league play. The Bearcats fell to 6-9 overall and 0-4 in league play.
