Crews will break ground on a new aquatic center at Paso Robles High School Monday afternoon.

The Olympic-sized pool will accommodate students and the Paso Robles community when completed. The state has allocated more than $5.5 billion out of Measure "M" to help fund the pool. The community has spent the last several months raising the remaining $2 million.

Monday, crews will be breaking ground on construction with a public ceremony. It starts at 4 p.m. at 801 Niblick Rd. west of the school tennis courts.
