Power restored to more than 4,000 without power in Santa Barbara, Goleta

Southern California Edison is reporting that power has been restored to the majority of more than 4,000 customers who lost power in Santa Barbara County Tuesday night.

Officials said at approximately 10:30 p.m. 4,100 customers in the Mission Canyon area of Santa Barbara lost power. As of 12:30 a.m. nearly everyone’s power had been restored. Crews were still working to restore power for six customers off of Mission Canyon Road.

SCE also responded to an outage in Goleta Tuesday night but said power had been restored to everyone in the area by early Wednesday morning.
