Warmer conditions continue ahead of rain Wednesday

Daytime highs for the Central Coast are expected to be fairly consistent throughout the area Tuesday. Temperatures will range from about the mid to upper 60s Tuesday and sky conditions will be partly cloudy.

Moderate 10-20 mph northwesterly winds are forecast through Tuesday morning before they start to increase Tuesday afternoon. Through Saturday, winds will play a factor in this week’s weather forecast and have the potential to reach 40 mph by the end of the week.

The first storm that is on the way is expected late Wednesday night and will carry over into Thursday morning. This storm has the potential to bring 0.25”-.5” of rain. A second storm is expected later Friday and will continue through most of Saturday. Rain potential for the second storm could be from 1.5”-3”.
