Inland valley temperatures warming-up back into the 90s

The morning hours have been a little bit cooler the past week or so, especially for the interior valleys where early morning temperatures are close to the upper 40s. However, by the afternoon, daytime highs for the interior portions will be close to the upper 80s and low 90s. From Tuesday through Thursday this will be the norm for the inland valleys before a cool down over the weekend.

The coastal valleys will be cooler and range from the low to upper 70s on Tuesday. Foggy and misty conditions will be fairly widespread through most of the morning, which will also impact the beaches. While clearing will happen during the morning hours for the coastal valleys, stubborn clearing is another possibility for beaches on Tuesday. As a result, temperatures along the coast are staying close to the mid to upper 60s, with the exception of areas like Avila Beach and Shell Beach, which could both reach the low 70s.

Moderate 10-20 mile per hour northwesterly winds will pick-up in the afternoon hours, so expect some breezy conditions throughout the day.
