A warming trend continues for the Central Coast as high-pressure builds over the West Coast.

Daytime highs for the coastal and inland valleys will be around the low to upper 80s with breezy conditions throughout the afternoon hours. Along the coast, temperatures are also seeing an increase into the low to mid-70s. Winds at the beaches will be light to moderate, but modeling indicates the North Coast could have a breezy afternoon and evening with the possibility of gusts reaching 20-30 miles per hour.

If you’re planning on being out and about for trick-or-treating or other Halloween festivities, temperatures will start to cool down around 6:00 p.m. The interior valleys and beaches will be close to the low  70s around that time, but coastal valleys will be around the low to mid-60s. Depending on how late you stay out, temperatures will dip down to the low to mid-50s starting around the 8 o’clock hour.
