The weekend forecast is shaping up to be nice, especially for January.
The coastal valleys and beaches will be around the low 70s on Friday, while the interior valleys will be close to the upper 60s. Until about 8:00 a.m., temperatures will range from the 30s to the 40s before it starts to warm up. By Saturday, daytime highs are expected to get even warmer. Most of the area will range from the mid to upper 70s with the possibility of areas like Santa Ynez reaching 80 degrees. By Sunday, temperatures will cool slightly but will still remain in the upper 60s to low 70s range. The weekend will bring mostly clear skies with some limited cloud coverage Saturday and Sunday morning.
Northeasterly winds will be fairly mild through the morning before shifting out of the northwest in the afternoon and will stay around five to 15 miles per hour.
