It looks like the warmer daytime highs that were expected for Saturday are arriving a day early. The coastal valleys and beaches are expected to reach the low 70s on Friday and the interior valleys will mostly range from the mid to upper-60s. The warm and dry conditions will carry over into the weekend thanks to offshore flow and high pressure. Sunday’s temperatures could reach the upper 70s, and the low 80s are even a possibility by the start of next week on Monday.

During this time, winds will be fairly mild for the area and it’s not likely that they’ll reach advisory levels. It looks like it will be a great weekend to get outside for a hike or enjoy the beach.
Tuesday will be a bit of a transitional day when temperatures will start to cool down slightly and a rain system will approach the area. Light rain is in the forecast for Wednesday, which could carry over into Thursday. Rainfall amounts are expected to be light.
