After a few days of Summer-like temperatures, the rain is returning for a couple of days. Before the wet weather arrives, daytime highs on Tuesday will stay close to the mid to upper 60s but the skies will be cloudy.
Expect foggy conditions throughout the morning commute for most of the area followed by cloudy skies in the afternoon and evening. As an upper low approaches the area, scattered showers are possible along San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties coastlines around 7:00 p.m. Rain showers will be off and on Wednesday and will continue through Thursday morning. Rainfall amounts will still be between 0.25’’ and 0.75’’.
Southerly winds will range from 20-30 miles per hour Tuesday, increasing later in the evening. The winds start to taper off early Wednesday morning and will stay below 20 mph through Thursday.
Friday looks to be dry but more rain is possible by Saturday, however, rain will be off and on with rainfall amounts less than 0.25”.
