An upper-level trough over California will bring cloudy skies and light rain to the area Friday.

Weather models show the low-pressure system will bring an increasing chance of light rainfall by the late morning through the early evening hours, particularly in San Luis Obispo County and along the north coast. By about 5:00 p.m. conditions will start to dry out but the light rain won’t be over yet. Saturday morning will be wet. Expect light, scattered rain activity through about 10:00 a.m. followed by a partly cloudy day. Overall, this system is still likely to produce about .25’’ of rain at most.

Sunday will be partly cloudy with warm temperatures. As a result of offshore flow, expect daytime highs for the area to range from the low to upper 70s.

Daytime highs Friday will remain on the cooler side and from the low to mid-60s. Winds will stay within a 10-20 mile per hour range but expect the more breezy conditions in the afternoon and evening hours.
