The windy conditions aren’t leaving the area just yet. Santa Barbara County’s mountains and foothills will remain under a wind advisory through 9:00 a.m. Friday. After that, the entire area will have winds below advisory level but expect breezy conditions to continue with 10-25 mph winds

A high surf advisory will remain in effect through 8:00 p.m. for San Luis Obispo County and the northern portion of Santa Barbara County’s coastlines. Surf is expected to build from 8-12 feet during that time.

Daytime highs for the beaches and coastal valleys will be from the mid-60s to low 70s, while the interior valleys will be close to the low to mid-70s.

Weather models are indicating winds will be calm Saturday and generally below 15 mph. At this time, temperatures are also expected to warm up, too. Daytime highs for the interior valleys will be close to the upper 70s and the coastal valleys will be close to the mid-70s. Temperatures along the coast will stay close to the low to mid-70s and there will be plenty of sunshine across the region.
