The marine layer is forming again at the coast Wednesday morning and patchy fog and low clouds are stretching into the coastal and interior valleys, but this is all expected to clear up by late morning.

Wednesday will feel like another spring day with sunny skies and warmer daytime highs. Most of the areas in the interior valleys will reach the upper 70s to low 80s Wednesday and the coastal valleys will be right around the upper 60s to mid-70s. The beaches will continue to have cooler daytime highs, but don’t let that fool you, temperatures will be right around the upper 60s.

Winds are going to continue to calm down Wednesday but there will still be potential for them to range from 10-20 miles per hour at least through early evening.

The possibility of thunderstorms and showers has been talked about this week, and those chances are still in the forecast for Santa Barbara County. It’s likely unstable air could cause these during the afternoon hours over the next couple of days but the activity will stay over the mountains and foothills.
