Daytime highs are going to be hot to start off the week. So hot, that a heat advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the interior valleys, which is where temperatures will range from the mid-90s to the low 100s.
Other parts of the Central Coast are also warming up. The beaches will be around the mid-70s and the coastal valleys will range from the low to mid-80s.
There could be some patchy fog near the south coast region Monday morning, otherwise, most areas will be partly cloudy before more afternoon clearing. Winds will generally range from 10-15 miles per hour, with gustier winds close to 20 mph in Lompoc, Santa Ynez Valley, and Santa Maria Valley.
