“June Gloom” continues into Father’s Day Sunday morning

and last updated

Stubborn, low clouds stick around Sunday morning, with the marine layer on the coasts and persistent winds keeping the fog in place for most areas before tapering off in the afternoon.

We do have an upper level trof that will allow for temperatures to climb to normal or slightly higher temperatures for the summer months, with most places expected to be around 70 degrees Sunday.

We will see some moderate wind gusts, ranging from 15-25 mph which is causing a Small Craft Advisory that does not expire until 3:00 a.m. Sunday.

By Monday, temperatures in the valley areas will be around 10 degrees below normal, with temperatures significantly cooler than last week.
