It affects the cities of Paso Robles, Atascadero, Cuyama and Black Mountain.
Daytime highs are expected to reach 95 to 105 degrees in these areas with Friday and Saturday being the warmest days.
Paso Robles saw a high of 100 degrees Thursday and is expect to warm up even more this weekend.
