Temperatures will increase Friday through Sunday, warming all areas by several degrees, as strong high pressure builds.

Increasing northwesterly onshore winds and a deeper marine layer will usher in cooler temperatures starting Monday.

The PG&E fire index rating is currently very high in the coastal and inland valleys.

Fresh to strong afternoon winds are forecast Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Strong gale force winds are expected Monday through the week.
