A heat advisory goes into effect for the inland and coastal valleys of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties from Saturday at 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday
Marine low clouds will redevelop tonight and deepen, moving further into the coastal valleys Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Temperatures will increase Friday through Sunday, warming all areas by several degrees, as strong high pressure builds.
Increasing northwesterly onshore winds and a deeper marine layer will usher in cooler temperatures starting Monday.
The PG&E fire index rating is currently very high in the coastal and inland valleys.
Fresh to strong afternoon winds are forecast Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Strong gale force winds are expected Monday through the week.
