A trough of low pressure is passing through the area Thursday, resulting in slightly cooler daytime highs.

Paso Robles will see its first day out of the 90s all week. The daytime high will be near 87.

Inland valleys will experience gusty winds this afternoon. Southwest winds will be 15-20mph with gusts up to 30.

Wind conditions will be calmer along the coast. The light onshore flow will keep the marine deck from budging at our beaches.

Sunshine may start to peek through the clouds at the coast in the late afternoon. Daytime highs will be in the mid 60s to low 70s for beach locations.

Coastal valleys will have highs in the mid to upper 70s.

High pressure comes back to finish up the week and boosts temperatures back up into the 90s inland.

A significant low-pressure system arrives Sunday into Monday. Expect much cooler weather next week.
