The overcast skies will continue Wednesday morning, and this time, drizzle is possible throughout the morning commute. The marine layer could linger throughout most of the morning across the coastal regions of the Central Coast with more gradual clearing for local beaches.

Three to six degrees of cooling is in store for the area as the beaches taper off to the low to mid-60s and some coastal valley regions struggle to get close to the low 70s. Most of the inland valley communities will really feel the cool down as temperatures dip to the mid-70s to the low 80s.

Gentle to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds will be in the forecast Wednesday, ranging from 10-20 miles per hour at their peak. This little break in the winds won't last long as they are expected to increase by 10 mph on Thursday before decreasing once again by the end of the weekend.
