The Central Coast will be warm and clear Wednesday as a high pressure system continues to stay over the area.
Morning conditions will be fair, with temperatures ranging from the 40s and low 50s with mostly clear skies.
By the afternoon, temperatures will start to heat and northwesterly winds will shift out the northwest, with potential for gusts to reach 20 miles per hour.
Daytime highs along the coast will stay close to the upper 60s and low 70s, while the coastal and inland valley communities will have temperatures from the 70s to the low 80s. Both San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles could reach the low 80s Wednesday.
The high pressure system will start to break down Thursday and cloud cover will increase. By Friday, there will be a 20% chance for light, scattered showers from the morning through the afternoon hours and temperatures will decrease to the 50s and 60s.
