Daytime highs for the Central Coast will trend down by a few degrees Friday. As the weekend continues, temperatures will continue to cool and actually get fairly close to seasonal averages. Inland valley communities will be right around the low 80s Friday, which is not far from seasonal averages, which usually sit close to the upper 70s.
For the coastal valley communities, daytime highs will mostly be in the 70s and the beaches will range from the mid-60s to the mid-70s.
Patchy morning fog will be a trend through the weekend followed by sunny and breezy afternoons. A wind advisory is still in place for the south coast, mountains and foothills in Santa Barbara County through 6:00 a.m. Overnight wind gusts for Montecito reached 50 miles per hour. These gusty conditions will start to taper off by the afternoon, but wind gusts across the Central Coast will reach 25-30 mph through the afternoon and evening hours.
