Firefighters stopped forward progress of a vegetation fire burning southeast of Shandon Sunday morning.
According to the CAL FIRE SLO public information officer, the brush fire was initially reported around 11:30 a.m. on the 4600 block of Cammatti Shandon Road.
The public information officer says as of 11:50 a.m., the fire has burned 10 to 15 acres and is not threatening any structures.
The cause of the vegetation fire is not yet known.
