Night through morning low clouds continue to cover most of the coast through Friday before a weekend warm-up.
Temperatures on Tuesday will be below normal with mild conditions.
Daytime highs are expected to be low to mid-60's at the beach, mid-70's for coastal valleys and low 90's for interior valleys.
Relative humidity looks to drops and gusty onshore winds looks to increase mid-week which will produce dangerous fire conditions especially in the foothills and mountains.
Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, inland valleys could experience some gusty conditions with wind speeds from 15 to 20 MPH.
As the week goes on, the marine layer shrinks and temperatures warm up to above normal by this weekend.
Interior valleys are expected to reach upper 90's to low 100's by Wednesday and only getting hotter by Saturday and Sunday.
