May gray to continue for last day of May

Saturday was a mixed bag of weather, with some areas seeing sunshine and others seeing clouds and rain.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies will continue Sunday, with low clouds and fog impacting the coasts and valleys.

Marine layer clouds will continue to affect most coastal areas Monday night into Tuesday.

Our winds are on the calmer side with the potentials to raise to advisory level by Sunday afternoon.

There's also a potential for NW to N sundowner winds for the Santa barbara County South Coast and Santa Ynez mountain area west of Goleta.

Because of these winds, elevated surf and high rip current risk continue through Sunday afternoon.

Temperatures will be near normal Sunday and progress to several degrees above normal early next week.
