The weather pattern continues to shift Thursday as fog fills in over the coastal valleys and along the coast Thursday morning. As of 5 a.m., the fog was fairly thick over San Luis Obispo and was hugging the coast of Pismo Beach. While most of the fog will mix out of the coastal valleys by late morning, it's possible that it could linger along the coast through the afternoon hours.
Daytime highs will be pretty consistent with Wednesday's temperatures. For the inland valleys, temperatures will range from the 80s to the mid-90s and the coastal valleys will stay close to the mid to upper 70s. It will be cooler along the coast, especially if the fog sticks around. Daytime highs at the beaches will range from the mid-60s to the low 70s. These temperatures will remain fairly consistent throughout the weekend.
The wind forecast will be mild to moderate Thursday with wind gusts struggling to reach 20 miles per hour by the early afternoon.
