Patchy morning fog is going to fill in along the coast and over portions of coastal valley cities Wednesday morning. Breezy conditions will start to pick up by late morning, pushing the marine layer off the coast and making for a mostly clear day across the Central Coast. Wind gusts are expected to reach 20-30 miles per hour through Wednesday evening.
Afternoon temperatures will be on the cooler side for the beaches, staying close to the mid to upper 60s. The coastal valleys will range from about the mid-70s to the low 80s, while the inland valley communities will stay within a range from the upper 80s to the mid-90s.
The end of the week will be warm as high pressure develops. Triple-digit temperatures are still in store for the inland valleys Friday through Sunday and the entire area will have plenty of sunshine.
