Fog and low clouds are being reported across some of the interior valleys in San Luis Obispo County, the Santa Ynez Valley and the Central Coast region of Santa Barbara County. These conditions will be present through the morning commute for those areas, otherwise, expect mostly clear skies by late morning.
Daytime highs will be near-average Monday. Temperatures for the coastal valleys will stay pretty close to the upper 60s. For the inland valleys, there will be a wider gap between daytime highs. Some, but not all, of the deep interiors could be closer to the mid-60s, while other inland valley communities could be close to the low to mid-70s. As for the beaches, temperatures will be right around the mid to upper 60s range.
The winds will be a key factor in Monday's forecast. By the afternoon, winds will shift out of the northeast and could reach 20-25 miles per hour. Even ahead of the afternoon hours, locals can still expect a breezy morning with winds right around 10-15 mph.
The weekly forecast looks dry, but there is a chance for rain Saturday. That's something we'll keep a close eye on as we get closer to the weekend.
