A low pressure system that brought the area some significant rainfall to the Central Coast has now shifted east. Twenty-four hour rainfall totals for the area are generally around 0.5''-1.50'' with rainfall totals upwards for 2'' for the mountains and foothills. Looking ahead to the rest of the morning, scattered rain showers are expected through late morning but rainfall totals will be fairly light and additional rainfall totals will stay close to .10''.

The rest of the day will be mostly cloudy and daytime highs will be cool. Most of the coastal valleys will stay right around the mid-60s, while the inland and coastal regions will be right around the mid-50s and upper 50s. Westerly winds will be fairly mild by the afternoon and close to 10 miles per hour with the potential for wind gusts to reach 15-20 mph. Rain showers will be off and on through Thursday as a cold front moves over the area. During that time, temperatures will also be on the cooler side and close to the 50s for much of the area. By the end of the week, skies will clear and temperatures will start to warm up by a few degrees, ranging from the low to mid-60s.
