Temperatures will be above normal Friday as a result of offshore flow.
Daytime highs will be close to the upper 60s for most coastal valley communities while inland valleys will range from the mid to low 70s. As for the coast, expect slightly warmer temperatures there too as daytime highs are expected to range from the mid to upper 60s.
Winds will be mild to moderate Friday morning into the early afternoon peaking at 20 miles per hour. The winds are going to increase later in the afternoon Friday as a low-pressure system makes way over the central coast Friday through Saturday. Strong northerly winds are expected to take over early Saturday and could gust as high as 35 mph over the Santa Ynez Valley. Saturday's low will also bring cloudy skies and bring temperatures down by at least five degrees for most central coast cities.
High pressure is going to rebuild by Sunday which means daytime highs will trend back up to the mid-60s to low 70s for the central coast. The warmer weather will continue through the start of next week.
