Comparing Tuesday's temperatures to Wednesday's daytime highs, conditions are technically trending down, but it's only by a few degrees.
The inland and coastal valley communities will range all the way from the low 80s for areas like California Valley and all the way up to the upper 90s for places like Solvang. Th beaches will also be slightly cooler from the mid-70s to the low 80s.
Clear skies will continue throughout Wednesday and offshore winds will remain in the forecast. Sustaining winds will remain below advisory level and will range from 10 to 20 miles per hour through the early afternoon before tapering slightly, and then picking right back up again later in the evening Wednesday. These conditions will last through the end of the week before temperatures will start to trend down Saturday and Sunday. By the weekend, the ridge of high pressure that's currently over the region will start to break down and a trough will move in. This will cool daytime highs and bring back morning marine layer and stratus for parts of our coastlines.
