Skies are expected to be mostly clear Monday morning as a warming trend begins thanks to offshore flow.

The upper level ridge moves eastward allowing a trough to form Tuesday afternoon, leading to a slight cool down on Wednesday.

High clouds will increase, especially across northern and western sections where cloudy will likely form.

A band of rain will move through SLO and SBA Counties Wednesday, breaking apart as it moves southeast of Point Conception.

The highest surf will occur across exposed west facing beaches.

Strong rip currents and dangerous breaking waves are expected and another high surf event is possible beginning Wednesday.

Light rain is expected Tuesday evening and Wednesday, primarily in San Luis Obispo County.
