The northwesterly winds that moved through the Central Coast on Monday will continue to build to strong to gale-force levels on Tuesday into Thursday.
Those winds will provide for mostly sunny skies during the late morning and afternoon at the beaches.
If the winds kick up as forecast, clear skies and warm temperatures could develop along the San Luis Obispo County beaches on Wednesday.
Warm weather is expected inland on Wednesday, as well.
Temperatures will warm into the week, reaching above normal temperatures Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure moves into the area.
A slight cooling trend is expected moving into Sunday.
Overnight and morning low clouds with fog will lift each day through Thursday, before returning more widespread beginning Friday.
Lompoc and San Luis Obispo County beaches could see a small measure of precipitation early Tuesday morning.
