A new grocery store is getting ready to open its doors in Lompoc.
Signage is now up at the new Spencer's Fresh Market at 1009 North H Street.
Signs on the doors show the store will officially open on Aug. 19.
Work has been underway on the former Big Lots building to add refrigeration and shelving for local produce and a full-service deli.
The owner of Spencer's previously told KSBY they chose to open in Lompoc because they felt the community was a good fit for their hometown grocery store.
