An investigation is underway in Solvang where two women were struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
The two women in their 40s were struck by a Domino’s Pizza delivery truck around 12:25 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Mission Drive and 4th Street outside the Succulent Cafe, according to officials.
One woman suffered moderate to major injuries and was airlifted by CalStar to Cottage Hospital.
The other woman suffered minor to moderate injuries and was taken to the same hospital by ambulance.
It’s unclear what led to the crash or who was at fault.
No information about the driver was released and no further details about the two victims is being released.
