LOMPOC, Calif. — The Lompoc Police Department is looking for a man who they say has violated his probation on an assault with a deadly weapon charge.

Police say 27 year old Nicholas Joseph Lopez is 6'3, 170 pounds, has hazel eyes and black hair.

No further details have been provided at this time.

Lompoc PD says he is a suspect in a shooting and vehicle pursuit that caused people to have to shelter in place in Vandenberg Village last month.

Back in 2018, police say Lopez was believed to be also responsible for a stabbing.

Anyone with information on Lopez's whereabouts is asked to call Lompoc Police at 805-736-2341.
