A suspect arrested in connection with the death of a missing Paso Robles man has been charged with murder.

The San Luis Obispo County District Attorney's Office says the charge was filed against Nicholas Ron, 23, of Paso Robles Wednesday, and alleges a gun was used in the killing.

Trevon Perry went missing in the early morning hours of March 15. Friends and family members reported him missing a day later.

After following up on several leads and serving dozens of search warrants throughout the state, Paso Robles Police last Friday announced they believed the remains of 27-year-old Perry were located at a home in Riverside on June 18.

Ron, who is believed to be an acquaintance of the victim, was arrested Sunday and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail in connection with Perry's death.

Ron is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.

A second arrest in the case was made this week.

Police say Vivianna Rodriguez, 24, of Paso Robles, was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to murder.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office says she was booked and released Wednesday. Bail was set at $20,000.
