This November, Californians will decide on a number of key issues, from who will become the next governor to statewide propositions to an array of local races.
On Saturday, the city of San Luis Obispo is set to help voters prepare to cast their ballots during a community meeting at San Luis Obispo High School.
The gathering will take place at the school's theater from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
The city says the meeting will offer voter registration resources and information on how this year's election will look different than in years past.
Presenters will include the city manager, the city attorney, and the city policy-and-projects manager.
The voter registration deadline is Oct. 19. Election Day is Nov. 3.
