Former Paso Robles softball player Mandy Snowbarger spoke to local travel 12U softball teams at Sunday at an event to raise awareness for childhood cancer.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Snowbarger shared her stories with the teams about battling through her experiences with cancer.
Snowbarger said softball played a huge role in persisting through her cancer diagnosis.
