Tatiana Smeltzer, a senior at Paso Robles High School, signed her National Letter of Intent with Cal State Northridge to continue her water polo career on Thursday afternoon inside the PRHS Performing Arts Center.
The Bearcats' all-time leading scorer was joined by her friends, family, coaches, and teammates as she became the newest member of the CSUN women's water polo team.
"I'm super involved in our high school, and I'm definitely going to miss that leadership and crimson crew aspect of our high school, as well as the overall support," Smeltzer said. "I always walk onto campus and somebody's there to talk to me, and so, I'm going to miss that."
Smeltzer also holds the program's single-season records in goals and steals.
