Daytime highs will be above average on Monday. The interior valleys will range from the upper 70s to low 80s and the coastal valleys and beaches will stay between the low to upper 70s.

There will still be some mid to high-level cloud cover through most of the afternoon, which is when the northwest and northerly winds will be mostly calm. The mountains, foothills and south coast in Santa Barbara County are under a wind advisory through 8:00 a.m., so it’s possible winds could be close to 25 miles per hour through the morning commute. Late Monday night through early Tuesday, winds will be much gustier and near 30 mph for most of the area by 7:00 a.m. Right now there are no wind advisories issued, but that will change heading into Monday night.

The rest of the week looks windy and temperatures will be on the mild side, mostly close to the upper 60s to low 70s.
