After a low-pressure system passed through the area, the Central Coast is getting a day of mostly sunny skies.
Daytime highs for the coastal valleys and beaches will range from the mid to upper 60s with the interior valleys staying closer to the low 70s. Northwesterly winds will continue to be gusty Friday and will likely range from 15-30 miles per hour through early Friday night.
The forecast still calls for rain Saturday through Sunday. After that, Sunday afternoon looks to be partly cloudy with a chance of showers through the evening.
This system could produce .10’’-.75’’ of rain with the potential for the mountains and foothills to receive closer to 1’’ of rain. This isn’t the last opportunity for rain, another system could pass over the area Tuesday through Wednesday and bring additional showers.
