High pressure continues to build until Saturday bringing hot weather inland.
Friday temps reached highs of 80’s and 90’s near the coast and 100’s near valleys.
A heat advisory is in place for Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties until 8 p.m. Saturday.
Temperatures ranging from 90 to 104 degrees are expected for interior valleys and mountains through the weekend.
Cities like Paso Robles, Atascadero, Cuyama, Black Mountain and San Marcos Pass will be impacted.
Saturday daytime highs are looking to reach mid to upper 70’s at the beach and low to mid 80’s for coastal valleys.
Evening through morning clouds will stick around the coastal areas, burning off in the afternoon for coastal valleys.
Onshore flow starts to increase Sunday and looks to bring slightly cooler temperatures, but most areas will still see highs 4-8 degrees above normal.
Winds are expected to pick up Monday afternoon.
Tuesday will bring more of a cooling trend as low pressure builds along the west coast.
